                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR 
                   OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS AND THE 
                   CITY FINANCE OFFICER TO EXECUTE AND ATTEST, 
                   RESPECTIVELY, AN AGREEMENT WITH DOWNS 
                   ENGINEERING, INC., FOR PROVIDING ENGINEERING 
                   SERVICES RELATIVE TO CONTRACT NO. 77/76A, 
                   DAYTONA HEIGHTS COLLECTION SYSTEM, IN AN 
                   AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED THIRTY-SIX 
                   THOUSAND, ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY-ONE AND NO/100 
                   DOLLARS ($136,171.00), WITHOUT PRIOR

       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Administrator of the Department 
       of Public Works and the City Finance Officer be and are hereby 
       authorized to execute and attest, respectively, an Agreement with 
       Downs Engineering, Inc., for providing engineering services 
       relative to Contract No. 77/76A, Daytona Heights Collection 
       System, in an amount not to exceed $136,171.00, without prior 
       approval.
